On the calculator for standard trans im getting 140mph in 4th gear @ 6718rpm with 3.70 gears. Im sure this is not exact but close with 28.5" rear tires. Rear gear ratio 3.50 in 4th gear @ 6355 rpms @ 140 mph. I would agree with JRE and a few other shops that 3.50 rear end ratio would be a good choice for 1/4 mile.

I have a turbo..if i could go 2.73 i think i would prefer it. The hp with my setup kills my first and second gear.. I hit second so fast I barely have to shift.
