Just curious absolutely no offense.
It really has more to do with time at full throttle/rpm/load, a road race car spends a lot more time at high rpm and high load where a drag car is one and done.

A drag car can run a hotter plug than a road race car.

Bad day at the race...

At the last wanna-go-fast run back on May 14th of 2016, at Heaven's Landing, I had a problem with one of the spectators that was not smart enough to stake his tent down in high winds. His tent blew over and hit my car.The spectator did not acknowledge what had happened even after his friend was given my name and number to call. These pictures are of the damage to my car and the tent that caused it.The good thing is, I do know a man in Atlanta that does excellent work in removing dents as you can see in this picture.
The moral of the story is, if you go to an event anywhere there are tents and high winds, realize you are at the mercy of the spectators. A police report was filed and the officer told me nothing can be done to the tent owner.

Jim that was really unfortunate.....The owner should have stepped up and covered the cost. One came very close to hitting my car last year....

Magnaflow

UP DATE: Added Magnaflow performance Exhaust in hopes for just a little more power. Only to find out I now have a drone noise that is unbearable! So I call MAGNAFLOW to see what I could do to fix it and they suggest I add the Resonators (part # 14419) to help the drone noise. So I did and it helps very little. So it looks like the only solution is to go back to the original exhaust to fix what I did. NOT A GOOD DAY!!!!

I feel your pain. I went through exactly the same thing with my Magnaflow set up. I might be down some HP on the stock exhaust but sanity is more important.

Does anyone have a ZL1 with over 800 HP at the motor that has a CORSA EXHAUST on it and has no DRONE NOISE?

The Corsa system has Zero Drone inside the cabin and is aggressive out the back.

I have one in stock I can give you a good deal on.

I called Corsa and they told me that with 821 HP that they had nothing that would stop the drone noise from inside the car.
