How to hang your hood on the wall?

So I replaced my hood and now I have it at home.
It's beautiful and I want to hang it on my wall.
Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

You can probably fab a metal wall bracket that will allow you to attach the hood by the same holes used for the hood hinges. The bracket would be hidden as it hangs on the wall.

So you got me thinking about this and after I posted earlier, I figured I should clarify. It would have to be two separate pieces, one screwed into the wall studs, and then the other attached to the hood via the hinge bolts. and then the two brackets hook together to hang the hood...

I'm thinking about hanging it in the stairway.
i have a 2 story loft so hanging it on the celling is not really an option because of all the piping and lights hanging down.

It's not as pretty as the Camaro hood, but here is how I hung my NASCAR hood.

I used (2) U-bolts and connected them to the hinge holes on the hood. I then secured (2) 3" lag screws with hooks directly to the studs. Although now that I am thinking about it, hiding the fasteners would be a good idea.

Necro Post. Did you ever get this figured out? I am looking to hang my hood in my computer room, but the difference is, I want to hang mine sideways so I can also hang my trunk on the wall too. I have a 90° corner in the wall in this room about 18 inches from the door to the room, so I can wrap the trunk around that edge and then I want to line the hood up next to it so the Rally Stripes flow together...

I've been wanting to do this for a while, but I could never quite figure out how to do it

Yeah, drill rings into the hood, then hang them on a couple of wall hooks

I know dam well I've seen that same hood on a car around here some where. Now it's just hanging around. If you need a use for it just use it for a back up shield in target practice.
