would a 275/40/17 tire on 17'' rim fit under my car? Im not sure what is the widest tire that will fit

That'll fit, That's what my 10-spokes have on them. I think 315's are usually the widest i've heard people going

275/40/17 is stock size for an SS/WS6 on a 17x9 rim. so yes, they will easily fit.

I've seen 325's before but that takes some "massaging"

, 275's will fit easily as long as you have the right wheel. Here's some good info:

My buddy just put 335's on his ZR1's. We used a hammer and grinded the bumpstop tho.

Nice, when I get some 17" rims I think Im going to out 245s all the way around. I cant find 275s of the tires that I want.

Best looking ass ever. Even the ZL1 needs to go wider if it wants to match..

And I said SS because holy dovetail 4th gen spoiler that actually looks right batman!

i went with 275's on all 4 with my new tires...i like being able to rotate them!

would 315's fit the stock wheels?

I've seen it done, but it's not safe. And looks kinda dumb.
