strut bar damage by dealer?

I hadn't noticed but i have scratches on my front strut bar over the engine. Not crazy damage but i havent even touched the bar myself. Is that dealer installed? has anyone noticed any damage on the metal polish finish of the bar? looks like it was dropped pre install.

Actually 3 bolts per side. With that said these bars are scratched from the factory, they are horrible. None of these are even close to polished. Everyone single one I have looked at, looks like its been through a war.

It was super easy, just take the 6 bolts off,and it comes right off.I got high temp matte paint and put probably 6 coats.I wanted to get it powder coated, and 1LE lazer etched in ,but dont have the money,so this will do for now.

My scratches weren't deep,so i just sanded it myself and painted.

Mine had a few marks from the bender when it was made. I pulled it and hit it with some polish to clean it up. I might paint mine flat or semi flat black. I'm debating how much work I want to put into it.

In grabbed some metal polish and within 5 minutes of hand polishing it has a mirrors finish. (In the center section, not the cast part)

Cornerspeed as I'm typing you gave me a fine example. I think I will leave the end pieces natural aluminum and paint the cross bar semi gloss.

Easy fix, lite sanding w/2000 grit or finer, and/or paint. Did my brackets w/matte black BBQ/Wood Stove paint. Four bucks at Walmart or seven bucks at auto zone. Waiting on some charcoal (dark gray) Plasti-dip for the actual bar/brace. I'll find out if it can hold up to the engine compartments heat. If not, I'll probably try some caliper paint. My strut braces are only torqued to 22 pounds.
