First post. Love my Camaro.
Hello Everyone,
Just introducing myself here. My name is Phill and I traded my 2011 Corvette coupe 6M for a 2012 Camaro. A little info- I loved the Corvette and had always said I would have one, and wow that LS3 was stupid fast !!! However I was using it as a daily driver and wanted to unload before I put to many miles on it, so at 38k miles I figured I would get more for it. Now the Camaro is an SS RS A6 coupe with 7,620 miles on it and checked all the boxes as far as heated seats, sunroof and such. Love the L99 as well. Can anybody tell me what the RS package adds to the SS? Thanks. |

Welcome and congrats on the new ride.
The RS package on the SS includes: High-intensity discharge headlamps with HALO rings 20-inch midnight silver aluminum wheels Body-colored roof ditch moldings Darker tail lamps And SS front and rear badges will be red

Congrats, Phill! Welcome, I think you'll like it here, you have all the range of people who daily drive their Camaros to those who use them (or not) as Garage Queens. I'm on that end of the spectrum, but hope to put on more miles this summer. 9,400 mi on my OrangeVert after almost 6 years. Can still remember the smell of new, hot $41,300 SS in my garage on 6/1/11.
