Paint cure

I heard you should let the paint cure before your first wax. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, how long?

Yes tis true. As far as factory paint, it is baked on at the plant and you can wax/wash/clay etc they day you pick it up. However if you have say stripes painted on, 2-3 months is an ideal time to wait before you do any of the above to it. And that's on the entire sections say your hood, the clear the entire thing, so don't think you can wax up over to the stripes.

Hope this helps.

Yup....after market paint needs to cure, factory paint can be waxed immediately.
