The factory amp is used for the speakers in the car. You would need to purchase a seperate amp to power the sub.

I'd like to know if you are going to stop at the drivers side box or are you going to offer a passenger side box as well. I have a 10"JL W3v2 sitting in my closet...just collecting dust. And, I'd love to pick up just the box for the passenger side.

cool... i can finally use that 1000w amp that's been sitting in the garage for the past 4.5 years

hahahah had it in the wife's 350z until we traded it in 2005... the speakers we had for it are also in the garage, but I'm sure they won't hold up much longer.

This is pretty cool

. I have a box in the utility closet with 2 JL 12w6's just collecting dust and 3 amps (JL) from my old Civic ...I would like the box only, I got the power to push it.

Can I get the box only

Good job on this ... looks very clean and thats the ticket there

Was wondering if there is any new inforamtion on this I checked out thier website and found nothing went to the Facebook page short video (no box shown). I was looking at going another route for the sub but if JL is making a stealth box I know this is the way to go. Please give us all an update.

it looks like the bottom of the speaker is almost on the floor of the trunk, idk, i would like to pick it up atleast a 1/2 inch

I emailed JL Audio a couple days ago about availability and price. They just emailed me back and included a pdf of the mounting instructions. Here's what they said and the pdf:

Here's the install manual, suggested retail is: $899.95, it can be ordered now!
