Quick Q about headers on my ZL1

Thinking about doing the PFADT headers and I'd like to know if they are installed from up top or the bottom? also, how hard or easy were they to install?

the reason I want these headers is mainly due to apparently no mods are necessary to the belly pan which is what I like.

Installing headers is pretty easy on these cars. Having an extra set of hand is very helpful though. They go in from below.

very straightforward install from bottom. I have done 2 ZL1 sets and they both fit great!

The Pfadt's are a great installation, they go in from the bottom. They also retain the factory underbelly pan so you need not trim the pan with the Pfadts.

Here is a set we had coated matte black for Modern07's ZL1, and a few pics uncoated.

ARH, install is simple, I'm here 7 days/week for tech help.

Here's a video from Vengeance Racing in GA, ZL1 w/ ARH and a few other mods

Okay. So I see I have the cat or catless option with the pfadt setup. Another Q is this. What do I get with the catless option? Is it just a piece of straight pipe with O2 bungs or what?

Highly recommend cats! Really makes a difference cutting down on the smell and gets rid of that raspy sound. If you like that sound then go catless.

Also, anyone know if I can get away with Headers, CAI & CNC TB without doing a tune? Want the sound and a bit of a bump but not willing to void the warranty with doing a tune.

Thanks for the input.

Im almost certain you cannot do headers w/o doing a tune.
