I'd do this if I could. Not worth a new deck lid to me though

Mine is on its way from promotorstripes. Any tips on installation?? I still have to remove my rear bowtie. Any tips on that as well? I was thinking fishing line.

I just warmed it really good with a hair dryer and used my plastic trim removal tool. Came off fairly easy when warm, once you get an end lifted it will come off.
The worse part was removing the left over glue, mineral spirits, gasoline and elbow grease will remove it. Follow the instructions for putting it on you will be fine!
Let us see a pic when your done!

I was curious as well on how to get the bowtie off of the back. Did it leave a mess? Pull any paint off, etc?

Have a black 1LS and love the matte black look. Think it will set it off. Right now I have carbon fiber bowtie on there that I seem to like.

Not sure which direction to go.

After removing the bowtie there is some resin left behind but some goo gone should do the trick. Then after all the resin is off just wash the area with soap and water and it's ready for installation

Not sure about wash or wax. I'm assuming that it will be fine. As long as its installed correctly. Just like the stripes that are currently on my 45th AE.

My wife missed the bow tie at first, because that was her hand hold to close the trunk at the grocery store......She adjusted.
Make sure you use Dawn or wipe the area with alcohol to strip the wax before you put it on!

I just recieved my camaro cutout from Pro motors for $25 yesterday. I havent install it (been busy)yet maybe this weekend. But just from looking at it(Pro motors), and looking at the OP's camaro cutout. To me it looks like the sizing of the letters are a different size.

Is it me or have those of you who purchased Pro motors feel the same way?

Maybe it's just me, and I have to wait to put it on my car to see . Just wondering
