Have you ever owned a vette? They are an amazing machine no doubt about that. My father-in-law is a vette guy and have taken rides with him in them and can tell you they are a totally different animal then the camaro. Personally with 2 boys i have no use for a vette as they would always want to be with me so 2 seater ftl. I went to a local vette show with a 2010 camaro that was around i spent the whole time staring at the camaro lol. The vette's did nothing for me personally. Also you haven't sat in a low car till you sit in one of these puppies. Love to watch them drive by though on the roads.

I like my Camaro, but everytime I drive the Vette the true winner is apparent.
Definetely go for the Vette. You will not be disappointed.

It's a win/win so long as the condition of the cars are both exceptional. |

the vette would only cost me 2000 more than camaro. So not missing out on too much cash.

That is a hard call. How bad do you want a brand new car? The camaro will have never been driven, and all the miles will be put on by you. You ordered the car, so it will exactly the way you want it to be.
However, that is a good price for the vette, and 15,000 is not a lot of miles. I am assuming that you know how the car was driven/treated/maintained so that shouldnt be a concern. They are both serious hardware and there is not a wrong choice to be made here. The question that only you can answer is what do you think is the best fit for you? |

I'd say go for the Camaro SS! Puts the Corvette to shame (in the looks dept.)!!
In my personal opinion, the Corvette is a cheap looking sports car. But thats ME. Keep in mind though, that the Corvette C6 is at the end of it's life cycle. It would suck to drop $50k on a car just for it to be old and outdated in a year or so. Versus the Camaro, which I would assume still has a few (3-6) premium years in it before a major re-design.

I sold my 2007 C6 last month and I should get my 2SS tomorrow... I hope it is not a let down!
On the other hand I have had my share of corvettes, 67, 92, 95, 00, 07. I guess I am just done... |

You would be a fool to buy any Camaro over a C6 Z06.
