Didn't the kit come with the SS/C? Edelbrock supplies everything you need with their kits. Except Coolant and Lock-Tite.

SLP doesn't come with it. I've been wondering the same thing. I need to do mine when I do my pulley swap.

Get the magnuson pinning kit. ADM sells it or eBay. I used that on my LSA kit before they were part of the kit...

I found a slp kit on ebay only to have the seller tell me they dont have it anymore. I am having a hard time finding a slp or magnuson pinning kit. ADM doesnt have them on the site either. Anyone know where I can get one?

I was able to install the kit this past weekend. It does make a difference and I would recommend it to anyone that installs a cam or a supercharger. I would also recommend it by default on these engines. The reason that I think this be because I had a g8 before and it spun the fly wheel. When I took it to the dealer to fix, the mechanic told me that it was a common issue with the LS model engines. So, if you get an LS, pin the crank is my motto from now on!
