I don't understand this poster at all. Is the car outside the 3 year bumper to bumper? Does he have an extended warranty? Even if all these are exhausted, one can ALWAYS call GM and plead their case, especially for something that went just OUTSIDE the warranty. I once had my transmission go at around 40,000 on an oldsmobile Cutlass supreme. The warranty was 36,000 miles. I simply called up and asked GM if the transmission is supposed to go after 40,000 miles? Obviously they answered NO. Well, mine went, and I'm outside the warranty period. Please help. They did. Full replacement. You can add things like, "I've been buying GM cars my whole life, family, etc." Never go to the dealer. They're going to say our hands are tied. Always call GM directly.
