V8 Master Cylinder Question

I have a V6 with Brembos from a V8 and I was wondering if anyone who has done the upgrade as well changed the brake master cylinder too. The master cylinder on the SS has a larger bore. According to the body in white catalog the brake booster and components are the same, so it should bolt right up.
