Like saying the 5th gen Camaro is the same car as the 4th gen. Just a newer model....

Well I guess I refine my statement by how general you are looking at it lol. Technically its still a Chevy and called a Camaro but the model year is where your differences come in.

When I think "car" I think of general terms for all of its generations. Model (or model year) is where things get different and you sector things down even to trims/options.

In the end I think car is a very broad statement but I was just yanking your chain because you did narrow it down to model

Technically, yes it does. The Chevy Caprice (aka Holden Caprice) is Just a Chevy SS on a stretched wheelbase to give more interior space, and with a bigger boot. They use the same Zeta architecture, engines, suspension, etc. The Caprice is more of the comfortable business mans car, where as the SS is the Sporty Performance version. I see no problem calling it the Chevrolet Caprice SS. I'm really not sure why they don't.

God told me Pontiac will be back with a Trans Am, that will be so fast and mean looking, it will come from the factory with a complimentary transferable graveplot.
