p0300 and service stabilitrak after clutch install...

P0300 = random/multiple misfire...Speed shop did the install. Guy had no idea why. Are there any wires he could have pinched putting tranny back on or fishing the new clutch line through the firewall? It runs like shit and vibrates sooo much. I had to drive it over 100 miles home like that cuz they arent open til tuesday and ill be away working...AND id be stuck in the city. Anyone have any idea of where i should start??? This is depressing.

If you put a lightweight flywheel on that probably did it. It screws up the misfire detection. (P0300)
Prob ned a retune at the very least if you did a lighter flywheel/clutch, especially with a cam.

The coil packs ground on the back of the heads. Maybe he bumped one of those grounds and you're firing dead on 4 cylinders?

Look for a loose spark plug wire.

Honestly thats what it feels like. It wont idle barely starts and runs like crap. I think its a combo of lightweight flywheel/clutch and something else.... how can i test plugs/coils/wires without changing everything? Thanks

Update: unplugged passenger coil and tried to start. Not a single pop. Reconnected and then unplugged driver side...seemed to fire almost as good as if it was plugged in. Found a tiiiny crack on one plug on that side. Gonna check each coil individually later when i get a hand with some insulated gloves lol. I reached behind and the chassis ground for each coils wire harness seem to be intact.

update 2: just checked each plug for spark on the side that i thought was firing but they all look good. after trying to start it i noticed it spins way faster than it did before. maybe whats happening is that the pistons are going through their stroke faster/out of sync with when the injectors are spraying and sparks sparking? like what iambroke is probably referring to...so def a lot of retuning involved! wish the shop would have mentioned this being a possibility...would a crank relearn help or will it even work where the tune is so out of wack?

Update3: contacted the shop that sold me the clutch...said there is no way in hell its causing these issues. Only thing it would affect is idle.....since im getting spark im gonna look into more wiring. Mainly with the injectors for that side. I think theres a wiring harness underneath on the passengers side that goes to the fuel pump and module? Maybe it got pinched?

Found the problem. I have the eforce JRE fuel line upgrade and in my opinion its a crappy setup. They all sweat fuel and the lengths are out of whack. One line is way to long and i should have had it out of the way but theres no room back there to angle them and tie em up properly. The guys pinched the line to the drivers side between the bell housing and block. At least problem solved and ill be burning rubber tonight!!

That is why I let no one touch my cars/trucks . That shop is not someplace I would give any more biz to . They should have never let it leave running like that . Any good shop would do a test drive B4 delivering a repaired car back to the customer . They are clueless and should not be trusted .
If it was running fine with no CEL when they got it ,it should have been running fine with no CEL when they gave it back . They are totally incompetent . IMHO you should let others know the name of that shop so others don't also get screwed by them .
