Yea I'm a cynical sort.. it's always been my personality, sorry.

padre, thanks, I'm going to have HPS tune it I think tho in the next week or so.

Went down today and talked it over with Chris, gonna get the headers this weekend and then HPs will intsall those and tune, sure hope it makes a diff man.. will report back.

In unrelated I checked out the twin turbo car HPS is building for thornton chevy, very cool, the single kit fits very well, but when you add all that extra tubing for 2 turbos.. it gets a little complicated. They were talking over the plumbing when I was there. I had hoped I coiuld be of assistance with brainstorming (as it seems to be one of my strong suits to come up with simple ideas that others haven't thought of yet..) but.. my idea wouldn't work cos the turbos would interfere with each other cos they spin the opposite direction.

Should be a GREAT setup. Will be a lot better if you have a forged bottom end and can really turn the boost up.

Ken's car was on the dyno when I was there, but I didn't hang around long enough to see it run.

Maybe I won't be stock by the time the Fbody show comes along afterall.

On another note, just let two flight instructors that I'm friends with drive my car....a WOT 1-2 pull feels so much more powerful in the passenger seat when you don't have a steering wheel to hold on to.... I really enjoyed that.

I'm sure they will come up with something like the stock oil pump isn't designed to handle the additional horsepower that the cam produces, ect.

Scott,

Sorry to hear about the pump/damage. As I recall, Blake's oil pump went out (he had a cam, headers, etc) and Hendrick Chevrolet replaced it. Only difference is that he had no further damage to replace, so it was only the pump. Might be worth a call though.
