I have this wheel the Bravado Americana 20x9.5 on all corners I would like to go a little wider than 245/45/20 and still remain within the 3% tolerance that is recommended on 1010 tires website. Can anyone that has knowledge of this little problem and could possibly recommend a tire size that will keep me within that 3% range.
I am not interested in what you are running and this or that will work but a definite answer from a tire guru.Sorry guys I am not being rude but I am having surgery next week and would love to get this sorted out because I will not be able to drive my car for about 4 weeks. Attached Images

Hey i have a 2010 2SS and i just put my first set of winter wheels and tires on it...i went down from the stock 245/45 20s and 275/40 20s to 295/45/19 on all fours is that ok? because the list on the first page has 295/40/19 recommended..will it have any problems?

Hello everyone, Did anyone change their stock tires on their 2SS and replaced them with wider tires on stock wheels? If so what size tires did you go with?

Just order the Continental ExtremeContact DW's from www.TireRack.com. Rev'd the rears today and waiting on the fronts. $1050 for the set.
Front Pirelli ($454) - 245 / 40 / 21 (28.6" tall by 9.5" Section width) Rear Pirelli ($521)- 275 / 35 / 21 (28.6" tall x 10.8" Section width) Continental Front ($197) 245 / 35 / 21 (27.8" tall x 9.8" Section width) Continental Rear ($223) - 295 / 30 / 21 (28.0" tall x 11.9" Section width)

285/30 works on the rear too... it's a healthy size tire that still fits the OEM 21 width... what's not to like?

HELP!!!
I have a 2012 camaro LS. Im debating on getting 20's or 22's. 22's look better in my opinion. I live in San Diego CA so the weather here is perfect, never have to worry about snow or anything like that. I would like to get them staggered but im wondering if tires are going to be super expensive. Im only 20 years old so I am on a budget. pros and cons on 22's? should I go with staggered or go same size all around to stay within my budget? any other thoughts? THANKS! |

20" rims are cheaper, and for the most part, so are the tires. It all comes down to the look you want within your budget. I've seen some pretty good aggressive looks on some cars sitting on 20's. If your going for Auto-X or drag/DD, then your best performance option would be 20's. If your looking for showing the car, then 22's, IMO would be best. I dont plan on doing drag or auto-x till i can put more money into performance, so i went with 22's

Cool thanks man!!! Any suggestions on what kind of tires I need? I think I'm going with 22's. Don't need all weather. Just rain and sunny days.
