i was at several dealerships yesterday trying to get info on my order. nobody could help me. i did find out that i am supposed to get a welcome package from chevy at some point. does anyone know at what point they send these packages out?

I thought Welcome kits were just for R6P orders....

not 100% though.

The deadline to have your car be designated as a R6P was in March. I believe it was before official production began. You're probably not getting a welcome packet. Sorry.

If you are not a true pre order then you will not get the pre order welcome kit with a letter and signed pic of the concept from Sangyup Lee. I believe the deadline was March 16th..

What if you didnt order an R6P car..... BUT you picked up an R6P order that somebody backed out of in May????

Would I get the welcome pack or did the other guy probably already get it?

I ordered in February and didn't receive my welcome kit.....dealer called them and they said it would be sent out in April....still no luck.

I have over 700 miles on my 2SS/RS LS3 I ordered Dec.5th 2008...still no welcome kit

Welcome Kit's are done. The deadline was March 16th. And they were sent to the original person who pre-ordered. I think it' safe to say that if you didn't get one, even if you ordered before March 16th, it's probably not coming.

I ordered Oct 13. Still no car. I'll trade my welcome kit for your car

Built may 6. It must be special as it seems GM doesn't want to part with it.
