Patriotic Bow Tie!! What do you think??? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

OK, I want you guys honest opinion. What do you think of this patriotic bow tie i did this weekend. Just in time for the 4th. It tool me a while to find the right stickers i wanted, a flag with a wave and not just flat. I finial found them at a Chevy dealer here in Houston. I got the last 4 he had, but they are ordering some more. I have to say, the pictures do not do it justice. The front bow tie I removed the bow tie completely took out the gold insert, added a 1/4 inc, foam sheet (My wife's idea, and yes it actually worked) then sealed it. The sticker is very high quality with about a 1/4 inch hard clear rubber surface. Really protects the image, no chance of water getting behind.

The back bow tie I just made a pattern and placed over the gold. They both turned out great i think. Just want others opinion.

only works on red. any other color would look silly

Looks best on back but looks good. Bet it look good on black to. Actually probably look good on all colors but IOM. Cause hate the red SS emblems of RS on IOM. But that's just my opinion and you know what they say opinions are like azzholes everybodys got one! But definatly makes your car unique! That's alot better than seeing someone drive a Toyota or Honda and putting big American flag sticker on it. Best ever saw number sticker on Honda accord that said buy American. I thought they should try and do what they preach. But here in Tennessee not everyone is all that bright! Including me!

As long as you are going to update it each holiday, you will be all set. Get your Halloween, Thankgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, St Patricks Day, etc. all ready to go.

Little to much for me, but it looks good. If you're in the military then I think its perfect. Nice unique mod!
