ZL1 Drag Racing Livelink SCT Datalog Files
First day at the track this season and it was very unusual.
Temps from 35-45 degrees and mist/rain and yes SNOW. They let us race and it was snowing in the portions of the day. Track prep was obviously horrible but ran a PB and took 3 Datalog files of the complete 1/4 runs. If anyone would like to look at them and let me know what you think just PM me and I will email them to you. Concerned that the AFR was very rich (10.00-10.4 in 2nd and 3rd gears and fuel trims in the .89 range). 91 + torco to 102. No knock, excellent fuel pressure, around 10.8 psi on a 10" lower and OEM manifolds. (6,200 DA) Briefly lost traction between the 60' and the 330' mark on every run but ran 5 - 11.8 runs and was the most consistently fast Gen 5 there today. I'm calling it "Snow Drags 2015" |

Thanks! That was the best day I have seen up here for DA but worst for track prep. First time traction was an issue on the DRs
Anybody have any thoughts on the AFR? I'm thinking it needs to be leaned to around 11.1? Last edited by 2013 ZL1 #7860; 04-20-2015 at 09:30 AM. |

Tuner got the car dialed in nicely. It put 613hp down on a dynojet. Still making minor changes but it is deadly consistent!

Guys please keep in mind this car has cats on it so we let the COT fueling do it's thing to keep from melting the cats. The Extra fuel is not hurting the cars performance enough to risk the cats melting. Consistency is more important in drag racing. Ted.
