FS CAI Intake
I've decided to go in a different direction and would like to sell my CAI intake. It has about 2000 miles on it. I installed it in late March.
Here is a picture of it in my car: It was installed with my supercharger and the original tube was modified. However, the shop I use had someone else with a CAI intake who could use my modified tube and they will give me their unused CAI tube. The point of all that is that it will come with a CAI tube that will fit a stock car (like a brand new CAI intake would). It's in great shape and looks pretty much new. I'm asking $325 plus shipping. I'm going with the black Rotofab intake that is made to go with the supercharger. The Rotofab is also black and will match my engine bay better. The CAI intake has been great and I think if it had been black, I probably wouldn't be swapping it.

My shop seems to think the CAI intake is great on a stock car, but they said the Rotofab could add a few more ponies with the supercharger. This is a For Sale thread, btw. My car journal would be a great place to discuss my mods! Thanks. Last edited by Darth_Emma; 11-04-2010 at 03:37 PM. |

Are there any scratches or flaws on it?

It is in great condition. It is being taken out of the car today by my shop. I'll try to get more pictures of it once it's out of my car if you'd like. I dropped the car off this morning and I should get it back on Monday.

That would be great. I'm definitely interested. If you see any marks, scratches, etc please send some pics. I take my car to alot of shows and have to be very careful about anything that would deduct points.

Here are some pictures I took today in bright sunlight.
Note that the tube has never been installed on a car. I swapped my modified tube (modified for a supercharger) with a guy who bought a new CAI intake. So the tube is new. The CAI intake I'm selling comes with what you see in the picture: Aluminum insulated air box Air box lid with 1/4 turn fasteners Ceramic intake tube Cone filter It does not include the heat-activated shrink wrap and "silicone coupler" (that's what Cold Air Inductions calls it) you need to install it. You'll need to pick those up at any auto-parts store. I'm sure the guys at Cold Air Inductions could tell you what size/type tubing to get. They might be able to send it to you. Here are the pics.
