She's home

I'm gonna be brief, I'm exhausted.:(
Finally picked her up today after a week of rain, I got about 4 hrs sleep last night and had a busy day, everything looks great and no dissapoints at all...all the paint matches no shipping damage.
I was even too tired to take some pic's...but my two boys ..of which neither knew I was getting the car , had plenty of energy.... my oldest (Ryan, 18) is really into cars and took all these pic's.
I'm gonna eat and probably hit the sack real soon, enjoy the pic's

You know...your right, I've bought plenty of vehicles before and even a couple classics.....but nothing has given me the feeling this car did.
My heart was racing ,as was my wive's, the dealership was busy and people were all over the place, there were a couple people looking/inquiring about Camaros, as well as Camaro5 member ToCool5 (Mark) who met me there to see the IOM in person.
Lots of excitement...lots of question and top that off with little sleep the night before= exhaustion, even when I took the dealers voucher down to fill the car up, it was hard to get out of there...... it was also very busy and just about every person had to come look & inquire.
Then to drive the car...(really for the first time it's yours) in traffic with just about everybody slowing down to look...or hurrying up to get on your a$$ to look ....yeah, it's exhausting.
Now it's over, time to enjoy it....if it ever stops raining here.:(

Yes they were shocked, neither were awake when we left the house, my youngest (Cody, 15) called shortly after we left to ask where we were, we told him on our way to HomeDepot
When I pulled in with the car, he happened to see me out the window and started yelling to his older brother (Ryan,18)..."hurry,you gotta see this", they came out with smiles and disbelief, Ryan even dropped an f bomb in front of his mom...he got the look from her
...needless to say they're both thrilled.
Ryan's really into cars and has his license, I'll let him drive it...he drives my 4 speed 69 Chevelle to shows for me throughout the summer, and has a 5 speed 07 Mustang, so I know he can handle it....besides, since we got that Stang in 07 he's kinda fallen towards the darkside...it's time to bring him back.
Cody's got a couple years before I need to worry about him getting behind the wheel

I can only imagine what it was like at your house when you drove up. How cool for them to have their parents drive up in an IOM 2010 CAMARO!
Geeze - if my dad suprised us with something like that when we were kids I would have passed out or peed in my pants! (And yea, my mom would have shot me the same look you wife did at the f-bomb!)

Sounds like you got a great car and an even greater family there! Enjoy them all and treasure the moments!
