GM has far more to think about than just adding more power.
Exactly

Just curious, how in the heck do they do that without running out of fuel? They must have some external fuel feed or something yeah?

Nor does it have magnetic suspension w/ what? Five settings? Has his tranny, diff, driveshaft been upgraded? We can go on and on...

I guess if you feel better that you have more HP and spent less, more power to you. But you really need to be honest w/ yourself on exactly how much you really spent to get that HP and what else you've sacrificed to get there. Warranty, reliability, etc.

Back on topic. This is some great news and numbers.

I was told by one of the moderators on here that the LSA does not have AFM.

Of course, we need verification from GM.

Can anyone actually confirm that there will not be an AFM applied to the LSA?

Why would GM apply AFM to the ZL1 when they haven't done it or even considered it on the CTS-V?

Definitely. I mean ... they had to burn thousands of gallons of fuel on that test. No way are you going to mount a tank that big above an engine inside a dyno cell. Though it would be funny to see ...

I feel like they should have waited until later to announce the specs. Now the GT500 will probably be one step ahead. But its still impressive!

I'm sure that Ford already knows the exact specs of the ZL1. And who cares? Let em know.

Anyone else notice the last pic? The hood is slightly different. The cowl has vents on the sides as well, only in that last pic. Also, the engine cover in this silver car is black. Guess this might hint that color-matched engine covers will be an option on the ZL1 as well?

Gt500 might try to "be ahead" in performance, but it looks likes a feminine vehicle. Ford really can't do jack shit in making their products look better.
