Yea so i drop the camaro off last week to have some warranty work done, service writer calls and said I need new front pads. I told him to go ahead and do it while i have it there, yea i went to pay the ticket....WTF!!!

I never go to the dealer with little things like oil change, brakes, etc. They'll rip you off everytime

Wow. Must be gold plated brake pads. You could of put Hawk ceramic pads and had tons of money left and better brakes with less brake dust to boot.

Man..... it takes more time to remove the tires than to change the pads. Could have done fronts, backs, & installed braided lines for that. Majority of that was labor. Regardless if tires were off car, if the book says 2 1/2 hours work they will charge that much in labor. Peace of mind knowing your brakes are done.

Most of the cars I have purchased over my lifetime have cost less than that. Really.

449!? Wtf! I replaced the stock pads on all 4 rotors with Hawks. 320 including parts, labor and any taxes. 99.999% will rip you off.

Didn't they tell you what it would cost before they installed them? Usually they give you an estimate and get your approval before the work is done.
