4 bolts have been doing fine at 1200ish, just more sensitive. With good gaskets and good studs, and aftermarket thicker deck heads, 6 bolts aren't needed as much anymore.

I like the 6.0's, but I like the 6 bolt heads better. I don't know if the OP has a desire to go that high in power though.
No problem seen plenty of 6.0 iron blocks make in the 1k area but when you start talking 20-25lbs and what that is capable of, I myself would be looking at 6bolt blocks. Just not something I would want to skimp on.

I will be happy at 1000whp. I have to get in the 4 digits. Lol I as getting close until my piston wanted to get some head.
I was looking that Texas speeds rotating assembly for the 6.0. I'm not worried about a stroker motor just what a better bottom end than stock.
I'm ditching the single turbo and going twins as well.

Horsepower is like crack, soon as you get some, you want more.

Make up your mind! LOL which twin kit are you going with?

Again, never said anything bad, just that 6bolts were better. Also said I didn't know the OP's plans.

Never said it was a problem. Plenty of big power 6.0's I totally agree with that. Hell there werr plenty of big power 5.7s, just wasn't sure the route 2010 was going to take.

Agreed. Just you see a bunch of people saying 4 bolts is needed for 1k hp, and that isn't true anymore.

I'd call but I'm not currently buying the internals just yet. I got the block yesterday And just dropped my tans off to get rebuilt.
I just don't want to waste anyone's time until I'm buying.

I've been kinda lazy this weekend so progress has been slow due to the heat. Lol

I'm using the Huron manifolds, but doing my own design twin kit. I'll be relocating the fuse box and abs pump. Just not sure what size turbos and wastegates to run.
