This guy is entitled to his opinions but I do question his manlihood. Every guy I know loves to see a girl in a leather dress because she smells just like a new car!
Leather = comfort, quality, durability, pleasure Cloth = Wal-Mart BTW I love my Sunroof, Fog Lights, and Remote Starter as well. |

I agree with the leather part. They are usually "leather seating surfaces", which you cant tell from the vinyl part.
What is so great about leather that is indistinguishable from vinyl? |

I have to disagree with the "good article" part. Most of this is a pp whine (personal preference) more than a list of valid concerns. I like sunroofs, think leather is awesome (so much easier to clean with kids - Scotchgard has its limits), use fog lights on rural roads where they light up the peripheral and have helped me spot many a deer, think the author needs to remember his key fob and stop whining, and has probably never properly applied a steering wheel cover.
I do agree with the paint sealants and rustproofing. Most are crap products applied at the dealership as backend profit items. Again though, these are only my opinions. |

I got a kick out of reading the article, some people just hate options and like to be dull/boring.

remote starters are ballinnnn :P I wouldn't use it to heat up my car on cold winter days, but I'd use it too show off to my friends (not too long, wouldn't want to pollute that much :P) + wow, he's against leather? >.>

Yeah, I challenge ANYONE to tell me that my cross with the Marine Emblem (Eagle, Globe, and Anchor) in the center to tell me its dumb, or tacky. That, is a fighting term to me.
Sunroof-depends on the car. Leather seats-whatever, I like them, dont HAVE to have them, plus it make fart noises funnier. Steering wheel covers- not my taste, but again, whatever-its your car do what you want. Foglights in some places are standard by the government, even in the rear-and yes-they do help-sorry about your luck if you think differntly. Key fob/remote starters. They dont hurt anything, at all. Its a luxuary, so is a radio-so are power options. Remember when power windows, cruise, power locks, FM, power seats, and an automatic trans were rare and desirable options?
