A little more rumble..QTP electric cut-outs with key fob. Go from stock to nascar at the push of a button. That may be exaggerating but it's loud and I love the idle. Something else I find amusing is when someone pulls up at a red light and revs a little you can open it up and blip the throttle and see great reactions.

Since you are in Illinois, you should check out Chicago 5th Gen Forum. Those guys always meet up (usually way north of Lockport) and you might hear something you like there.

Solo Performance (axleback)
1. Fits the convertible.
2. Sounds very nice.
3. Did I mention that it sounds great?
4. Easy install.

Is your Camaro an L99 or LS3?
I was considering Flowmaster Super 44 Delta Flows, but decided against it. I don't understand how they wouldn't fit though, they're helluva lot smaller than the suitcases that are there now.
The thread of my research may be helpful:

If it's an L99, with the resonators, there's no way the mufflers will be too loud... In fact, the opposite may be true.

Would I be better removing the resonators with An X pipe versus putting on an axle back system?

I didn't ignore your question; I was hoping someone else would answer because I don't know.

Nice.. When I talked to Flowmaster, they said they did not carry any system made for the convertible. How is the "drone" on these? I'm looking at Legato and they claim their mufflers are "drone free"... These Legato's are under $300 for a set so they are priced really competitively.

Here is email I got from Flowmaster
"Joe,

Sorry I wasn't more clear. Unfortunately we do not offer a Flowmaster exhaust for the Convertible Camaro's!

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Please give me a call if you need any other questions answered!
"

I guess I will need to check into this model before I decide.

I have the three inch Stainless Works cat back turbo flow muffler system on mine. It fits great, almost better than stock, as the mufflers are a lot smaller. Anyway, no drone and you can have a conversation top up at 65, but as soon as you step on it, it sounds killer. My wife loves it, she always wants to hear it w.o.t. at least once when we go out. Also, you get that throttle blip on start up, always gets a smile.

One thing to consider with the auto trans is turning off AFM. It makes almost any aftermarket exhaust sound crappy. I had AFM on for a few days before I tuned it, and it made me crazy hearing it kicking in and out of 4 cyl. mode.
