LOL- I almost forgot how to drive it!

So far so good! Except they forgot to calibrate for my 3.73's....

Of course that meant I got to cruise home at an indicated 96mph!

Good to have her home- I've raised 3 children that have grown and left the nest. I swear I've worried more about this darn car than I ever worried about the kids!

Thanks Arno- that is the plan! I'm sure he'll move quickly to correct the issue.

A family run company called StreetDragz.com converts the local old airport to a timed 1/4mile track a few times a year.

I think they're due back here in Sept. Hopefully it will be some cooler then and I will be ready!

I'm looking forward to it and nervous at the same time! I guess that's called "fun"!

Whether I have beginner's luck or muff it badly, you can be sure I'll report back here.

I've had the car back 2 weeks but still looking for that speedo correction tune...

Makes it difficult to appreciate the new performance cause you're always calculating the approximate true speed- which seems to build more quickly, but it's an inflated number on the speedo and you're simultaneously worrying about a ticket!

Sure would make it easier to enjoy the car... Jesse?

I'm curious to see how the 3.73 gears work. I was thinkn of picking some up.Where did you end up picking them up?

I appreciate the sincere suggestion, but I'm referring to just driving around speeds. I haven't taken her out for any high speed "see what she'll do now" kind of runs.

Besides, I'm getting so far-sighted in my old age it takes me a moment to focus on the phone- LOL. That's the real reason older Americans don't text and drive- we can't see to do it!

www.apex-speed.com, Chase will take care of you! I've really liked mine since day one and believe the car really benefits N/A or FI.

I know alot of guys swear by their 3.91's, but I couldn't imagine bothering to use 1st gear if I had lower gearing than the 3.73's.

They're the gears Richmond makes for the SS (so you know they can handle even a modified V6), but will fit just fine in any stick shift V6.
