After 6 years in the northeast and I meet a really cool girl when I am soon to transfer to the west coast... Figures, lol. Such is the life of a military person. /rant off.

Have you mentioned to her how nice it is on the West coast this time of year?

Been there, done that. But I left her in Germany at the end of my enlistment. She was still in college and didn't come. I still think about her from time to time ...and that was almost 30 years ago.

If you are still thinking about her a couple of months from now you might think about buying her a ticket to come see you (as soon as you have a few day of leave saved up). You never know...
