That's the worst piece of advice that you can give. I see that posted from time to time and people actually believe that it is good for your paint. If a cheap microfiber towel can scratch your paint to hell and back, think of what a dryer sheet can do? To give you an idea, how comfortable would it be to wipe your butt with a dryer sheet? Not all that good, right? That's why it is a terrible thing to rub against your paint.




Your crack me up my man. You always add a little levity to this site!

The man is correct, if your not a clear bra/film kind of guy like myself this method will save your paint.

Yeah, I lived near Savannah and had to stop every mile and a half on my bike to clear 'em off my helmet. It was awful, they're like a horny plague cloud of acid that you can't go anywhere without driving through.

Just ran across an ad from 3M for a spray film protector.Ad says it lasts a year and can be peeled off.
