After reading this... am i correct to say that all i need to use is the 4 bolts that i can drill holes for using the locations behind the piece of fabric in the trunk?

There are 4 that are under plastic plugs and 2 under the carpet material under the trunk lid. I got the aftermarket OEM style made of lightweight plastic and just drilled the outer holes under the plastic plugs. My spoiler also used threaded self tapping bolts and not the studs and nuts that the factory uses. Mine has been on for a year and a half and has never gotten loose.

Just did my wife's today. Her RJT Camaro came without one, and I found this gem on eBay for $80 shipped. Color matches perfectly, and the hole line up perfect. Pulled the grommets under the trunk lid (4 of them). Tapped a mark dead center through each hole for drill placement, and hit all four with a step drill bit. Put some yellow grease stick on the two remaining studs in the spoiler, then test fitted the spoiler to the 4 drilled holes. Tapped on the top, and the last two (the center two) drill sites were marked with the yellow stuff. Went at it with the step drill, and the spoiler dropped into place. GE Silicone Clear on outside of the trunk lid holes, mounted spoiler, more silicone to the studs, installed washers and nuts....tightened it down and then applied even more silicone to the nuts/washers. Silicone is your best friend when doing these.... Anyhow, pics below for those who'd like to see this stuff. if you haven't done one of these and are scared shitless, worry not, it is easy as hell. Peace !
