I'm pleasantly surprised that I was not stiff this morning. It is supposed to be unseasonably warm day today - 90ish. Running behind again. HAGD

Camaro Fest V

We are back from Camaro Fest V at Baytown TX (Houston) ! We made 24.2 mpg going there and 23.2mpg back home. Avg. 23.7mpg for the whole trip! Total miles was 1412.2 and today was 664.2 and took 10hrs. and 12 min. We made 2 gas stops and 1 food stop!
We had a Blast at the Fest!!!

Was looking for an opinion here. I've ordered a 2LT and now I'm wondering if I should tell dealer to add RS package if it's not to late.

Do you see enough value in what the package contains?

Is there any chance that you'd end up buying aftermarket wheels regardless?

To me, it Is worth it. Do you like the features that come with the RS package? I have no intentions of heavily modding my Camaro.

My wife had a terrible fall yesterday and badly broke her ankle. The hospital is 70+ miles away over in the east valley. She may be able to come home today.

Depends if you can afford it or not. I love the headlights, upgraded wheels, appearance and also the upgraded rear axle due to the wheels! Can't remember everything you get, but I think it's worth it.

Dang, so sorry! I played baseball with my grandson this weekend and thought I had done something similar a couple of times...........turned out ok, but guess us Old Farts have to watch out for things like that!

Glad you guys had a good time. It was killing me to miss it. Timing was good too missing the bad weather & having nice weather during the fest. Maybe I can make it next year.

Whether you know it or not, odds are pretty good you are going to get the mod bug after your car arrives. Look at what is in the RS package that you would want versus what is in it you don't care about, how much the things you want would cost to add aftermarket versus what the RS package adds to the cost you will be paying interest on. I added the Halos and had options on my car without the RS package that gave me what I wanted. Tough call. Good luck.

Sorry to hear of your wife's injury. I hope she got to come home & that she heals quickly.

I had a VERY busy day & have a lot of computer work to do. I'm sitting her watching the return episode of my favorite show - 24. Pretty good so far. I better get to work.

Very long day at the hospital today. Wondering why it takes 3 hours to discharge a patient.

Yeah, nobody at hospitals gets in a hurry about anything. Sorry for the ordeal you & the wife are dealing with.

Another day, another dollar. Coffee time then off to work. I did not make it to my new exercise class yesterday. I had a late client in crisis. I am not too crazy about the class any way. Thursday after work our Camaro club is suppose to be featured at a local cruise-in & concert that happens every Thursday. I hope I have no clients in crisis that day. About time now to get myself in gear now, HAGD all.

Thanks everyone! Claire is learning to get around quite nicely. Lots of her friends and family have been calling her.

Got a new windshield in the Chevelle and it looks nice. Hope that was the last rock hit for that car.

Some pool equipment was delivered today. RUMOR has it work will continue on it today.

The rumor turned out to be false, no one showed up to continue work on the pool.

Good morning crew. I was sleepy last night & turned in a bit early so woke up earlier this morning. Today I need to get prepared for a club event on Thursday evening. This is a hard one for me with my work schedule. It is a local cruise-in and concert at a local music venue. Our Camaro club is being featured this week. They will feed us (supposed to be a great chef). I hope I can get off a bit early. It is supposed to be another nice but unseasonably warm day here. Have a good day everyone.

I am so glad this day is almost over. Just bad all around. But I kept plugging away.

Got a neat Camaro thingy from Kirban Performance. Can't wait to get around to installing it. it's just a neat trim piece I've wanted since I bought the car.

Pool people came today. It's dark out and they are still at it. Must be a mile of pipe in and around the hole! I take a photo when I can.

Hope everyone is doing OK.
