fuel rail question....
Hope someone can answer my question
If I buy the holley LS Hi-Flow Fuel Rail Kit http://www.holley.com/534-210.asp Do i need to buy and do the Fuel Line Conversion kit that JDP Sells or will the holley fuel kit move the fuel line off the intake?? Has anyone installed the Holley kit and if so how hard was it and will i need to do any fabricating?? |

The directions say this: P/N 534-211 - Adapter kit, required when directly connecting Holley fuel rails to GM factory fuel line quick-connect. Includes (1) 3/4-16 O-ring port plug and (1) -6 to GM quick connect adapter.

Those look pretty sweet. I think I found out what fuel rails I want when I get heads/cam.

Yes, but that part number (534-211) is an "Optional Accessory", so it will ordered separately from the fuel rails.

OP what you're lacking is a fitting to get you back to the aluminum fuel line (near the frame rail). Not sure what 534-211 includes or is but essentially what you need is something like this The bottom 'U' shape unscrews. You slip that under the bottom of the lip on the factory fuel line, slip the threaded part over, and tighten. Now you have a -6 fitting to screw your -6 straight fitting on to from the other kit. |

And a word of advice to anyone making fuel lines for these fuel rails...tighten it as much as possible before it makes its way onto the car. Once it's on, if it's leaking, it's tough to get a lot of travel with a wrench back there to go any tighter.

If i get this and the P/N 534-210 & 534-211 then this should be all i need? Will i need a fuel rail tool to help disconnect the fuel lines?
I was reading somewhere about braded fuel lines leaking gas a bit... is that true?? |

Yes, go to my thread and learn how I eliminated that concern.
