what is needed for diff swap in l99
I am hoping to do a diff swap in my 2010 l99. I need to know what I am going to need to do the swap. Do I need new driveshaft bolts? And what else would I need?
Thanks in advance. |

To be safe, I'd replace your drive shaft, upper control arm, trailing arm and toe rod bolts. There all TTY type bolts. Other than that, just diff fluid. It's a simple swap really. Oh yea, replace the axle seals on the diff if there not new.

Yes. Direct bolt in then recalibrate the tune for the new gear ratio.

Yes, reguardless of whats inside, the casing is the same, so everything will line up just fine. If you changed the tranny, thats when the DS wouldnt fit.
