Damn, nicely done! Looks like E85 is the way to go for us bolt-on guys.

You guys would be low 13's with cooler temps & better DA.

Congrats!

Thanks. I had fun and it felt like too long since I'd gotten out there.
I'm still getting some spin off the line and I still either shift to 4th or hit the rev-limiter(either one is adding some time). I had Vince raise the 3rd gear rev-limiter on the regular tune and need to check and make sure he carried it over on the E85 tune.

Nicely done.... You must be one of the lucky ones without the first to second gear grind.

It's very intermittent. First run I had it, the rest were good. I was also happy with my clutch. It held up great and no stink.

rod, I thought you was going to be on e85 before babylon and before paul(usa1), but I guess still on the fence huh

I think some 3.73 and cooler weather should have us low low 13's or even into 12's

I'm thinking of deleting the 3rd gear rev-limiter. I cross the first set of timing lights and it bounces the rev-limiter every time if I don't shift to fourth. Either way loses a little time.
And slicks may be coming(too bad a 15" rim won't fit these brakes). Spec has a clutch kit and flywheel that I may be getting for me for Christmas.

Anyway, we're back to 100*+ this week(104 today).

Had a few good runs, but the one I really wanted was against that GTO(shat-talker when he heard I had the v6). I was so ticked when I missed a gear. Give me a Muncie over this Aisin anyday.

That might not be a bad idea and I was going to actually do this before I switched over. If you look at my dyno graph on e85 the powers hold steady up to when we let go which is at 7k rpm. I believe strongly that we can get a better torque/hp curve if we just had the freedom to play with timing as we wish and draw up a better timing curve especially up top when the timing drop to 23-25*. The question is, how far pass redline is safe for our stock internal. Its amazing the freedom we can have with e85 when knock is no concern.

I will prolly stay with gas til next year. E85 will be more plentiful by then and it will give me something to keep me busy next year. Ide like to get to roll cage territory this year with the giggle juice and maybe knock a few 1/10s off my NA. By then I will have a droid to....

At one time i had vince raise my shifts because it was shifting right b4 the 1/4. Hasnt been an issue as of late so Im back to the stock shift points (I believe)

Mine are deleted, but even on it hard, all you need is a couple of hundred rpms, then instict kicks in, and makes you shift. All I wanted was just a hair past the limits.

Low 13s to high 12s on the corn syrup are coming. I can't wait to see peoples eyes pop out of their heads when they hear this and realize its just a V6 with bolt ons and tune, and no changed internals or boost.
