Those hood vents are very mid-80s trans amish. I guess we'll wait and see. GM will get the truth out eventually.

after hearing in the past year that the C6 is overdue for a change and doesn't appeal to young buyers
IF that truly represents the next generation of Corvette, it is a SAD DAY. Please don't let that be the next Corvette , GM. I'd take a C6 over that every day of the week. I see nothing new but a quarter window that's not needed and a Camaro rear end.

don't see too much GTR in it... i actually see Aston Martin based on the C pillar
i honestly love the design (minus the tails) .... but it is not corvette looking to me IMO |

A Ferrari got rearended by a GT-R... and this is a picture of the ACCIDENT!
I'm sure if this is what the actual 7th generation Corvette looks like, it will be better in person. But like many have already stated... I expected more! They put out that Stingray Concept, to get the fan base all frenzied... and then come out with a car that has nothing in common with the concept. I understand that's how concepts have worked in the past... but it sure isn't what happened to the Camaro Concept, and the final production version of the 5th generation Camaro has received nothing but praise! GM you got it right with the Camaro... are you going back to getting it wrong?

How would the doors open? Wouldn't that lip on the bottom prevent opening the traditional way?

AKA a bored designer sketched something up, a higher-up at GM said, "Well now, that's just dandy," and had it built to show off at an autoshow.

The Stingray Concept may not be possible, but I would have thought, due to the overwhelming postitive responses towards it, they might incorporate something from it into the 7th generation. Personally, when I saw the Stingray Concept, I thought they might finally have some good ideas for the next generation Corvette. (I haven't liked, at all, the last 3 generations.)

i figured the Stingray concept wasn't it 100% , but the direction it was going.
this thing , if you saw it from the side you'd think it was either a GT-R or a next generation toyota Celica

And you are correct, again! I suppose after seeing Fenwick post it, it gave more credibility to it (in my head). I trust that guy too much!!

Until GM actually does release concept art or their own renderings of the C7, this may just be some blogger's concoction out of thin air.
