ZR-1.
As capable a toy as the GTR may be, it's all due to electronics, which I do not like. |

I love the ZR1 hands down ,but realistically speaking I think I could handle the GTR without killing myself better than the wicked ZR1. Am I being giving one or am I buying in this hypothetical world? If I'm buying, It would have to be a ZR1. I just wouldn't push it too hard while driving her. If I was given one, I think I would take the GTR and beat the crap out of it.

ZR1 because the GTR has too many nannies.... & it's made by the same company who makes the cube, the juke, and the quest.

ZR1. I prefer it when the manufactures solution to giving you better car control is to send you to a driving school, rather than load the car with technology.

true
looks like just another vette. they really need to do something different to make the price diff so significant from a regular car. i'm not really a fan of the gtr either on looks but with all the technology the car pretty much drives it self. |

The way I see it, making high performance variants of a car look unique for the sake of uniqueness is a waste of money and effort. If it stems from changes needed due to aerodynamics or other performance related factors, I'm all for it. But doing it just to make it look special is pointless. Any enthusiast that cares enough to appreciate the car will be able to pick up on the subtle differences. If you need to make big, obvious changes to get the general public to notice, all they're going to see is some weird looking car that some guy probably customized himself and not realize what it is that they're really seeing.

No question for me, the ZR1, I would even go with a ZO6 or a Grand Sport for that matter.

Zr1 but its a close call...im a tech at a Nissan dealer and I have driven and worked on the gtr and my neighbor has a white zr1 which he let me bring for a little rip. 2 different animals zr1 is a white knuckle car which is my kinda car appose to the gtr where the car does alot more for u in terms of control...we do have a 2012 gtr black edition on our show room floor which is bad ass

Very hard decision. I picked the Vette, but soon it will be outdated since the C7 is coming. I wanna see what the C7 ZR1 is going to look like!
