There are still honest shops out there...

After a disappointing experience with a "highly" rated race alignment shop in Cincinnati, I pulled into a place called Don's Automotive in the Blue Ash area. The place is very clean, up to date and friendly.

I told them I wanted an alignment after I dropped my car 1". Please double check my work, bushings and torque specs.
I made my appointment for today and took her in. They even gave me a loaner car until they got my Camaro done.

5 hours later I went back with my credit card in hand.
The head mechanic handed me the keys and said "No charge."
He told me my alignment was dead on and nothing needed to be changed. All torque specs were fine etc.
I tried to pay them something but they wouldn't take it. Hell I even used a gallon or 2 of gas in their loaner.
I'm glad to see there are still "small town" type garages with decent, honest people to do business with.

They are still out there. We have several in the Indy area and quite a few throughput the state. Hell, we even have a few honest/performance oriented dealerships.

There are still some good ones out there, I have one in my town ... have taken my cars in a few times where everything checked out OK & they have never charged me a dime ... after the last time, I brought the manager a case of his favorite beer Unfortunately, we often only hear about the bad ones, especially on forums ... thanks for posting a positive review

I'm not real familiar with the Cincy area but I think I stopped in at Cincy Speed and they told me they didn't do alignments. Suspensions, cam swaps etc... yes, but they have a local tire shop do their alignments.

The place I went is called Don's Auto Repair Inc. (Blue Ash)
They have a FB page as well.

I actually live an hour south of Indy (Bloomington) and I heard Raymonds in Indy is top notch!

Did you time the bushings before the alignment?

I would post a positive review for them on Yelp, Edmunds, Yellow Pages, Facebook, etc.
