Nitrous

I want to add nitrous to my car but want to know what the best kit is. What's the most I can spray on the stock bottom end somewhat safely. The car is making 620whp on blower now. Thanks.

You're pretty much at the stopping point for a stock bottoms end right now...

Do you have a fuel system to support it?

Route I'd go personally. With a few additions of course (window switch, LPE Launch & Timing Controller #LNC-2000)

interesting...we had this discussion at the track last night. I'm wanting to spray like a 75 shot (would put me right on 600whp)...I think in the heat we have down here that it would actually make the car more consistant. Centris are way cooler running than the roots options, but this totally changes the ball game.
Make sure you have fuel, and +1 on the Lingenfelter timing controller.

There is people running over 900whp with stock shortblocks. With boost and bottle. Just make sure you put some good fuel in there with a good tune. and you will be fine on the bottle with a 75 shot

OP, you can just go with a dry shot as long as your fuel system / injectors can handle adding the extra fuel and your tuner knows what he is doing. And as long as your trans can handle spraying through the shifts

I'm having good success with that setup. Mine is on a WOT switch and that's it. Once I floor it the nitrous sprays until I cross the traps.

I was doing plenty of that blasting through the pine barrens of NJ with a few other cars. I was WOT into 5th if you get my drift. . On another note the differential is holding up LOL

I highly doubt you were using 900 rwhp on the street. Actually, there is no way you were. The road would never ever hold that. Not to mention you'd punt the car in front of you.

Well, there was legit no cars in front of me lol, you haven't been to the pine barrens then? My buddy in the vette behind me could chime in perhaps and verify as he wanted to see if he could keep up. Of course there was spinning a bit but once I hit 3rd it hooked right up from a 2nd roll.

It was fine all day on 750whp don't see why you think adding a bit more power is unfathomable. Not like the road shatters under the power LOL

Plenty of people run over 1000whp and exclusively street race. Yeah, it's dangerous and the traction won't be as good but it's not like it's impossible, especially at higher speeds.
