So it is really expensive and they dont like to cover warrenties. Why wouldn't you just build it like you want it?

More efficient than the stock blower and bigger(1.99 compared to 2.3).

And here is an article from 2008 about a GT500 getting the Super pack. Car went from 437rwhp to 560rwhp.

They will cover the warranty just like they would on any other GT500. And just like any other GT500 if you are dumb enough to come in with a different pulley you are probably going to face a fight over warranty.

That's a pipe dream. They don't warranty crap to 660HP. I know what your taking about though. I've read the same thing when they sell you the upgraded pulley or supercharger ,but go check out teamshebly and you'll find just how many really get warranty when they break something after the mod.

It really wouldn't surprise me if the dealers try to fight warranty claims. But as it sits you can have a 660hp GT500 and your factory warranty.

Until you break something. Just like any other mod. Plus did you ever read the fine print on this. There are many way for ford and svt to get out of giving you warranty. First off, it must be installed by a ford dealer. For me that's the first strike against it.

I'd like the links to the denied warranty claims.

Fried clutch with a pulley swap, I wouldn't warranty that crap either.

You expect Ford to warranty a major upgrade, like a different bigger blower, for any shade tree mechanic?

No, but the chances of getting a major mod like this done correctly in a ford garage isn't too good either. Their's people that do mods only for a living and know the in's and out's much better than a guy just repairing cars everyday.

What was the cost on this "super pack"?

Though...does any of this matter?

I want the 660 pack info.

I just find it hard to believe you get a good warranty with 660 HP.
