Granted, I and the people that I take in my car are not 20 years old but the one common compliment I get is "how quiet it idles and at high rpm the exhaust note is awesome!"

Did the resonators change the sound at idle or WOT much?

You have a pic of where you placed them? What reference from the tunnel brace? Are the resonators 3"?

No change in sound at idle or wot. Your best bet is to ask Ted where they put them. I don't know off the top of my head. Plus he has the car this week. Sorry I can't be more help. Yes, 3" resonators.

I have the magnaflow Street Catbacks on my L99. No way are the quiter than stock. Even my neighbors noticed the change. Not loud, just better tone with a little more edge, and no drone.

Well see...there's the difference. I have an LS3, and yes the Magnaflow Street mufflers were quieter than stock. The stock L99 mufflers have different internals than the stock LS3 mufflers, not to mention the L99 has a huge resonator that the LS3 does not have. That may explain the difference.

I'm absolutely gaga for the Magnaflow 3" comp cat back I just installed on my SS with an LS3. Nice deep tone with zero drone.

Everyone has their own opinion on sound and I'm not saying you're absolutely wrong because it's your opinion but I have the 3" Maganaflow with street mufflers on my LS3 and a set of KOOKS LT....it's not even close to stock.

Personally I've never a stock Camaro sound anything close to this.
