Cyber Gray owners!

Hi Guys,

Before I bought my cyber gray metalic camaro, I got the brochoure from the dealer to see the color options. Also, I managed to find some photos on the website.

However, I noticed the the Cyber Gray in the brochoure differs than the original one.

Can you see the difference?

The color looks different every time the light changes; source, direction, intensity. It is the metallic qualities of the paint as each surface reflect light a little differently. That is why in bright sunshine the side body panels (front fender, door, rear quarter) look like different shades.

I know, but I feel that this color tone is totally different than ours. Ours is much more like bluish gray. This one looks charcoal gray.

I never saw any Cyber Grays like this !!

It does change its tone depending on the light defelction... thats why its called "CYBER" gray and not just Gray Metallic.

You should see the variations in ABMs and SGMs in the light

I know what the site says. But when you build a camaro on there site and chose midnight silver they look more black then silver. I never ment that chevy ever said or posted that the rims were black just that they looked blacker on the site. Sorry for mis understanding. I'm still new to this and don't explain myself well. Plus my spelling suuuccckks!!

You have to realize that both of those images are CGI. They are not real photos, they are digital renderings.
Also, the image on the left is rather low quality in my opinion. You can tell it is a rendering based on the Camaro Concept Car data. You can tell this by the vents and the details in the lower front fascia.
The image on the right is very close to what the real CGM paint looks like. Use that as a reference. You would also notice that the Build Your Own renderings on the website show CGM looking different. That is because a different company did the "BYO" renderings than the ones that made the image on the right.

Moral of the story...... they are all computer generated. There are no inconsistencies in the paint, just the companies trying to render the paint. Look at real pictures to see what it will look like.
