Best way to clean the dashboard?

Can anyone tell me what they use to clean the dash? The plastic radio screen is another question. I see it can scratch very easily. I can't remember what I used on a previous car that had a plastic dash but I remember dulling the finish and I don't want to do that again. Thanks.

heck yeah, that plastic screen for the stereo is so easily scratched, even when I used soft chamois. don't use terry cloth, it will scratch it.

I honestly don't use anything on my dash and doors except a damp rag (with water). I use some Armor all protectant for the door entrances.

I always blow of excess dust with Dustoff and then use Plexus with a microfiber. Have used it for years on my motorcycle and no scratches yet.

Compressed air can blow the duse off the interior surfaces really well. Get an air hose and compressor.

You can also dry the exterior of your car with a leaf blower so you don't get water spots and don't need to run a cloth over it to dry and create scratches in the paint.

As far as the radio display goes i HIGHLY recommend getting the Ghost Armor for it. Below you can see where my radar detector chord had begun to scratch my display a good bit. Installed the Ghost Armor and it is not noticeable at all anymore! Cant even tell the shield is there either unless you look for the edges.

+1 on the ghost armor. I have the complete kit on my SS.. I have it on my headlights, fog lights, blinkers, gauges, and radio. Not to mention my clear bra

As for detailing the dash. I just purchased the Adams interior detail products and love it. Gives it back the "new" look. Not a big fan of the Armor All glossy look.

I just looked it up, its around 35.00. I have scuffs too and from your pic it looks like it hides them. Am I correct?

++1 on the Ghost Armor cover. I think it actually improves the look of the stereo face.

They provide a little spray bottle of liquid for the installation. It was a snap.

Highly recommend it.
