Magnets?

Couldn't you use a couple of good Magnets hidden in the lower grille?

Haven't tried anything yet... just strolled across this thread, and thought ... Magnets. I will try it out in the future and let you know how it works... probably going to pick up at a industrial supply store.

hello, i superglued the brackets i made to the back of the grill, that way i could easily remove the plate (for pics or shows) and reinstall right away. i took it off the other day for pics and put it right back on when i was done. worked perfect.

Thanks,

I have an idea for a variation of your mod, from the pic, I wasn't sure how you were holding the plates on. Thanks for the help.

you guys are lucky you can bend your plates. It's illegal to bend plates where I live =( 600 dollar fine if u cut or bend the plate. Since it legally belongs to the insurance company =(

Cool mod though

Looks great Lupe! I removed my plate a few weeks ago but have been worried about the Houston cops getting me for it. I think I'll follow your lead with the brackets.

Thanks for posting!
