I've not seen "chips" work since the mid 90's. The computers have gotten a lot more sophisticated. Gone are the days where you can plug in a chip and get extra hp. They really didn't work great to start with. What they did was they tricked the computer into thinking it was running lean so it would add more fuel and run rich and advance the timing, both of which is bad for the engine. |
