Anything bad happen?

Ok who all got speeding tickets, fender benders or broke something on the track this weekend?

It was a awesome weekend, but I'm sure someone had to have gotten a ticket at least.

ipimpthisc got two tickets I believe. A couple of aftermarket shop cars broke at the track, but that's to be expected since they were pushing the limits of the cars finding the weak links.

Some punk tried to get my LED sidemarkers. Broke the light and pulled the front facia away from the quarter panel in the front, and chipped up the paint with a screw driver in the front and the back. They didn't get them out, so they took my valve stem covers, just to be a jerk I guess. Bummer is I missed Sat morning activities at the track doing a police report.

I was worried that something bad would happen to someone's Camaro or Camaros while at the hotels. With so many of them parked in the parking lot, they would definitely attract thieves or vandals .

In the past car shows I have done we had people volunteer for night parking lot security, 4 hrs each with about 4 people. Worked out great. Something to add the next Camaro5fest.

This morning I went over to the Holiday Inn Express to eat breakfast with a couple of forum members and we passed by the gray Z06 that ran at the track (does anyone know who that belongs to?) anyway, it was nicely parked in a spot. We eat breakfast and come back out and the Z06 is sitting in the middle of the drive with an IOM v6 in front of it that had backed pretty hard into the Z06 and pushed it all the way all of it's parking spot! He didn't see the car at all. There was some good orange paint on his front bumper and busted headlights and corner lense. I'm not sure who the driver was, but he asked if it was mine when I came out, said no, but I didn't want to be that guy. He called the police and they wrote up a report. I saw the owner come out later and he wasn't upset. even gave the guy who hit him a pat on the back.

no problems here with my car or possessions. I'm surprised there weren't more, but that's a good thing.
