You can simply change the relay in the drivers fusebox with the one in the link below so that you have to depress the trunk button twice before it opens. I’ve had it over a year and it works like a charm

Not sure if that's what his issue is, but here's my video on the relay. Expensive, but I love it.

Didn’t mean to imply that was the OP problem, was just offering an fyi on the trunk relay mod. I really think the cause and fix to the OP problem is mentioned in post 9
