I have no idea as all I know is this is how it was shipped to us directly from Strange and I have run it several times in the car now and it works great and is very quiet. Can you explain exactly what you are looking at that is the concern as I am just curious what you are seeing from that pic.

To me,it looked like the pinion was set up too deep.

Here's a pic of a chrysler 8.75" with the same issue.

Maybe another diff guy can chime in,and tell you his opinion on it.

Strange does an excellent job setting up gears and offers the best product that we could offer with our 9" IMO.
Glad it's working out good for you Jason.

Thanks
Chris

I really can't even see the drive side of the gear in that picture.

Got some more big changes coming for our 9" kits early this year.
Option for REM polished gears for ultra quite operation
Larger axles (our Outlaw axle packed in a smaller cv joint to fit the Camaro) More on this a little later but it's big news
CNC machined billet 9".. oh yea, light weight and super strong!

Now that sounds like some great additions, but a CNC billet 9" that sounds too good to be true! I sure hope you got my name on a couple of those new outlaw axles too! This along with the stellar service you provide is going to be hard to beat. Great products and by far the best service experience I have ever experienced, way to go......

I just might be there with the GTO, I have a bunch on my plate the next couple months but will see if I can swing it. I fly out to Australia 4 days after the race so we will see.
Gforce is a sponsor the race so I might show up.

Thanks
Chris
