Best tuner kit, SLP, Whipple, Edelbrock?

Looking for a PD tuner kit, I really like the look of the new SLP but I was told I need to buy the heat exchanger separately. If that's the case-it doesn't make it much of a deal.

Any suggestions?

Any Whipples on the 14's and 15's-does the Whipple interfere with the hood?

I need a kit that make 650-700 rwhp easily and have good IAT control. I'm open to upgrading the heat exchangers, coolant reservoirs and pumps but if it gets too crazy I'll just toss a ECS kit on it and call it a day.

I can make 650-700rwhp with a centri in my sleep.

I just like the look of the PD under the hood.

TIA!!!!

Why not a centri? PD's all have to watch for IATs, if you have to go PD do the Heartbeat

Bang for your buck, you can't beat the LSA PD blower. If you want IAT's in check with a PD blower at that power level you are going to be upgrading everything anyway, so start with the cheaper LSA. Are you factoring in cam and all the other things required to get that power out of a PD? Seems like you are in Centri or TT territory to me.

After adding up all the cost to do a PD and keep the IAT's in check, I've decided on an ECS kit.

Can't beat the cost of that kit compared to the power it will put out!

I'll post up results as soon as I get the car.

Take a look at the Kenne Bell too. I just put one on my car and I love it. And if you like the looks of PD blowers, the KB looks awesome under the hood.

Yep Follow the logic tree and centri or TT is all that makes sense.

Heartbeat, no doubt about it. It was overpriced when I bought my SLP, otherwise that is what I would have.

This is my first Fi car. I went Whipple. that and a cam has me close to 7 at the wheels with 8psi. Not much noise if your looking for that. Just my experience. But i like no noise its a money maker. Mine is an 11 so hood clearance i have no clue.

We have some tuner kits ( SLP Jackshaft ) for under 5K if you are interested. Same system as the jackshaft Maggie, just a different housing.

Last time I thought about going ECS because of cost....then AGP pm'd me an offer I couldn't refuse........Talk to them, you can get big time power on your stock block. Then later on, go forged and use the same turbo setup for over 1000whp, just turn up the boost...
